FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. -- Firefighters and Flagstaff Police had to rescue five hotel guests on Saturday night after a car crashed into their room.
Authorities arrived at the scene to discover that all five guests were trapped inside by the damage.
Firefighters were eventually able to open the door to the room and free the guests. No one was injured.
Crews also had to stabilize the damage to the room to make sure that there wasn’t any further damage done to the wall of the hotel, which is located in the area of Woodlands Village Boulevard.
The rooms directly above the damaged area will remain closed until the wall can be inspected by structural engineers.
There’s no word on how the car crashed into the hotel, or if there will be any criminal charges.
