PHOENIX -- All three of the people convicted of killing Valley resident David Estrada have now been sentenced to life in prison.

On Friday, Cecilia Vega, 19, and Jose Bosquez, 19, also received life sentences for the 2010 murder of Estrada.

Vega, however, will be up for possible release after 25 years.

Back in March, Bosquez and Vega’s accomplice in the crime, Robertson Brown, was also given a life sentence.

Estrada, 22, went to meet Vega one summer night after they became friends online.

The two met at a park, where Estrada was ambushed by Brown, Bosquez and Vega. Estrada was beaten and bound before being thrown in the trunk of his own car.

The trio then drove Estrada’s car around town showing their friends Estrada’s body in the back.

Estrada eventually died in the trunk.

Bosquez, Vega and Brown are all documented gang members.
