PRESCOTT VALLEY, Ariz. -- A Prescott Valley man is accused of setting fire to his own vehicle.
Police responded early Tuesday morning after Robert Hendley, 25, called and said he had been assaulted by unknown suspects who set fire to his car.
Authorities arrived to find Hendley’s car engulfed in flames.
Hendley went on to explain that he was getting into his vehicle on his way to work when he was assaulted by the alleged suspects. He told police that he heard the suspects set fire to his car.
While investigating the incident, authorities discovered that there was no evidence to support Hendley’s claim.
