SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- Firefighters plucked a man from the chimney of a Scottsdale house early Monday morning.

The residents of the home in the neighborhood of 66th Street and Camelback Road heard somebody coughing shortly before 6 a.m. When they went to check it out, they discovered the man stuck in the chimney.

It's not clear if the man was trying to break into the home.

The man has been identified as 42-year-old Jeffrey Ostlund of Phoenix.

He was taken into custody and then transported to a local hospital.

Aerial video from the scene showed the handcuffed Ostlund being put into an ambulance. He did not appear to be badly injured.

Ostlund is facing burglary and trespassing charges.
