GILBERT, Ariz. -- A 47-year-old Chandler man who tried to make a citizen's arrest on a jogger was arrested for unlawful imprisonment, disorderly conduct and assault.

Karl Frost identified himself as "Jack Frost" when he called police Wednesday morning and told them he was trying to make a citizen's arrest on a man for running in the bike lane, according to Gilbert police Sgt. Bill Balafas.

Balafas said Frost grabbed the 52-year-old man who was jogging southbound on Islands Drive West toward Warner Road at about 8 a.m.

When Frost was arrested, police found a loaded .40-caliber Glock in his waistband.
