MESA, Ariz. -- Mesa Police are searching for a woman who is believed to have robbed two local banks in the past two months.

New surveillance footage shows the suspect entering the BBVA Compass Bank at 1325 W. Southern Avenue on March 27 and handing a teller a note. The teller handed the suspect a known amount of money before she fled the bank.

Authorities believe the same woman also robbed a Compass Bank on 4450 E. Main Street on April 27.

The suspect is described as a white woman in her 20s or 30s. She’s between 5 feet and 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighs approximately 120 pounds.
