PHOENIX -- Clouds brought a partly sunny start to Tuesday, with Valley lows dipping to the 50s and 60s.
This afternoon, look for more clouds and a high of only 90. The average high for today's date is 92 degrees.
A low-pressure system moving south through Arizona is bringing the clouds and could draw enough moisture into Arizona for some widely scattered thunderstorms later today across Eastern and Northern Arizona. Rainfall would likely be very limited and dry lightning is a threat.
Tomorrow, more moisture moves in the state, bringing the threat for isolated thunderstorms further east.
The Valley could see areas of blowing dust if storms come close enough. Afternoon highs will top out near 93 tomorrow and in the upper 90s Thursday.
Triple digits are likely Friday into early next week.
