Phoenix weather: Temperatures warm up this weekPosted: Updated:
PHOENIX -- Warmer temperatures are going to be moving into the Valley as the week progresses.
Monday was a quiet day of weather around Arizona, but an area of low pressure should bring some moisture into the state.
Residents of eastern Arizona can look for isolated thunder storms on Tuesday, while a few isolated storms will be popping up east of the Valley on Wednesday.
An ozone watch will also be in effect on Tuesday and Wednesday. Residents are encouraged to help out by reducing their driving and carpooling whenever possible.
Refueling your car after dark and refraining from using gas equipment can also help manage the ozone levels.
Temperatures will be in the mid 90s on Thursday, but will begin to rise as the low pressure system moves out of the state.
Triple-digit temperatures will be upon us by Friday and are expected to last through the weekend.
