PHOENIX -- The week was off to a warm start Monday with a high of 95 degrees, but the start of May today won't be quite as toasty.
With abundant sunshine, temperatures will peak near 92 degrees today in the Valley, and with high clouds, only near 90 degrees Wednesday. Overnight lows should linger in the 60s.
Temperatures will start to climb closer to the weekend, with mid to upper 90s looking likely for Saturday.
No rain is in sight.

Looking back, we had an average high last month of about 87 degrees, which is about two degrees above the monthly average high. The average low temperatures was 62 degrees, which is also about two degrees above normal. We received 0.08 inch of rain at the airport, which is about 0.2 inch below average for the month.
