COTTONWOOD, Ariz. -- A Cottonwood man is accused of sexual conduct with a minor and child molestation involving two girls under the age of 10.

Yavapai County Sheriff's Office detectives arrested Michael Gonzalez, 61, following an investigation that began in 2009.

Both victims, who were known to Gonzalez, now reside outside of Arizona.

The victims related specific details of sexual activity involving Gonzalez occurring in a home on Ramada Road in Cottonwood around 2007, according to sheriff's office spokesman Dwight D'Evelyn.

Detectives arrested Gonzalez for three counts of sexual conduct with a minor and one count of child molestation. He was booked at the Camp Verde Detention Center and is being held without bond.
