SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- Police are searching for a silver Chevy Malibu in connection with a deadly early morning shooting at a Scottsdale medical complex.

Police were called out to the scene at Desert Cove Avenue and 89th Place, which is northwest of Shea Boulevard and 92nd Street, at about 12:30 a.m. Tuesday. They discovered a male custodial worker who had been shot. The suspect fled the scene.

The victim, who has not been identified, was taken to Scottsdale Healthcare Osborn where doctors pronounced him dead.

At this point, investigators have no witnesses to the incident -- a woman who was cleaning on the other side of the building only heard the shot -- and no description of the suspect.

Officer David Pubins of the Scottsdale Police Department said officers have learned that a 2001 Chevy Malibu, similar to the one pictured above, with the Arizona license plate ARG1490 might be associated with the deadly shooting.

If you have seen this vehicle, police say you should not approach it. The suspect in this case should be considered armed and dangerous.

If you know anything about this crime or see the vehicle in question, contact the Scottsdale Police Department at 480-312-COLD (2653). You can also submit a tip online.
