1)    Much Ado About Nothing, Southwest Shakespeare Company at Mesa Arts Center, Thru May 5. This is one of the cleverest comedies The Bard ever penned.  Much Ado features one of the most engaging and unlikely romantic couples in all of Shakespeare, Beatrice and Benedick.  In all its intrigues, battles of wits, romance, buffoonery and dramatic thrills, Much Ado asks people to look beneath the surface of love to its true nature, past human frailty to humility and forgiveness.

2)    Family Wilderness Camps at The Phoenix Zoo - Spend a WILD night at the Phoenix Zoo! Have you ever wondered where all of the animals at the Zoo go once all of the guests leave? Where do they sleep? What sounds can be heard when the sun goes down? Find out at one of the Phoenix Zoo’s Night Camps! The Zoo has a couple of options that are sure to fit your needs and comfort level.  The Family Wilderness Experience Night Camp is Saturday May 12. It begins at 5pm and continues through the next day. It is a genuine overnight camping experience… Your party will have its own tent (up to 5 people) Yes… these are real tents that the zoo provides and puts up for you! In true camp style enjoy a scrumptious dinner off the grill, make s'mores over a camp fire, go on a night hike, and have up-close animal encounters. Wake up to the sounds of the animals and see the sun rising just in time to enjoy a continental breakfast, a private safari train tour, and explore the Zoo on your own for the rest of the day!
The Family Twilight Camp is Saturday, May 5 from 5 pm – 10 pm. This camp is for adventures who want to experience the Zoo at night, but have the option to sleep in their own bed.  This memorable experience includes a guided trail hike, a private tour of the Zoo on the Safari Train, up-close animal encounters, activities, a late night snack and a night camp souvenir. This option is for campers ages 5 and up, and all children must be accompanied by an adult.

3)    Green Day’s American Idiot presented by ASU Gammage - April 24 - April 29, 2012. Direct from Broadway, the smash-hit musical American Idiot tells the story of three lifelong friends, forced to choose between their dreams and the safety of suburbia. Based on Green Day's Grammy Award-winning multi-platinum album and featuring the hits "Boulevard of Broken Dreams," "21 Guns," "Wake Me Up When September Ends," "Holiday" and the blockbuster title track, "American Idiot" boldly takes the American musical where it's never gone before. This play is directed by Michael Mayer who is knowen for Spring Awakening.  Charles Isherwood of The New York Times declares this show ""thrilling, emotionally charged and as moving as any Broadway musical I've seen this year!"
