PHOENIX -- Police are asking for information from the public as they continue to search for a bank robber dubbed the "Bearded Bandit."

The suspect robbed seven banks in the Phoenix metropolitan area between Dec. 22 and April 3, according to police.

In each case, the suspect walked up to the tellers and demanded money then fled on foot with the cash.

The suspect is described as a white male, 20 to 50 years old, 6 feet to 6 feet 2 inches tall, 180 to 250 pounds wearing a fake beard and wig.
