Phoenix weather: Big change coming this weekPosted: Updated:
PHOENIX -- After a very warm holiday weekend, Mother Nature has some changes in store for Arizona.
Look for a couple more days of above average temperatures before a big cool-down and possibly some rain.
Monday brings partly sunny skies, with high clouds and a high of 94. That's a full 11 degrees above average for today's date.
Tuesday brings close to the same, with mostly sunny skies and a high of 92.
On Wednesday, a low-pressure system approaches from the northwest, bringing breezy to locally windy conditions and a high of only 80 degrees.
Breezy and cooler conditions are likely again on Thursday, but rain and snow chances are slim.
A second storm arrives late Friday, bringing a chance of rain Friday and Saturday with even cooler temperatures and more wind.
Look for highs Saturday in the low 70s with a slight chance of rain Saturday.
