Phoenix weather: Chilly first day of springPosted: Updated:
PHOENIX -- A strong winter storm has exited Arizona but left behind some very cold air for our first day of spring.
Tuesday morning's temperatures started out in the teens in much of the high country, and in the upper 30s across the Valley. With plenty of snow on the ground, look for highs in the 30s and 40s in Northern and Eastern Arizona, but 50s and 60s in the deserts of the state.
The Valley will warm up to about 66 degrees today under mostly sunny skies.
Even warmer weather is expected tomorrow with highs in the 70s, and we'll be back in the 80s with plenty of sunshine for the weekend.
