Phoenix weather: Sunny but coolPosted: Updated:
PHOENIX -- An early-week storm brought snow to the high country and wind to the Valley but moved out quickly during the day Tuesday. In its wake, the state will see slightly warmer temperatures Wednesday, but those numbers will still be below average for this time of year.
For the Valley, look for highs in the upper 60s Wednesday afternoon under mostly sunny skies with overnight lows dipping to the mid-30s to mid-40s Thursday morning.
A cold front is poised to sweept through the state Thursday, but at this point it looks like a dry system. While there is a slight chance of light snow in the high country, the Valley won't likely see a drop of rain.
High temperatures stay in the upper 60s Thursday and Friday under mostly sunny skies, but temperatures start to warm back to the low 70s Saturday and even low 80s by Monday.
