Phoenix weather: Warm days continuePosted: Updated:
PHOENIX -- Tuesday's afternoon high of 75 degrees is a bit above average for this time of year--but will likely be topped by today's highs. As a ridge of high pressure builds to our west, look for mostly sunny skies today and an afternoon high of 77 degrees both today and tomorrow.
The average high for this time of year is 72 degrees.
We're more than 1.5 inches behind the year-to-date average when it comes to rain, but the seven-day forecast continues to look dry.
Afternoon highs top out in the upper 70s through Saturday, and drop off to the low 70s for Sunday and into early next week.
No storms come close enough to Arizona to bring significant precipitation, although a passing storm to our north Sunday could bring windy weather and light snow to the high country.
