Phoenix Weather: Warm-up on tap this week

Posted: Updated:

PHOENIX -- President's Day in Arizona will be a beautiful one when it comes to the weather. Look for sunshine and seasonal temperatures in the wake of our weekend storm.

The storm didn't bring rain to the Valley, but the high country got a dusting of snow, and Snowbowl got nine inches of fresh powder.

Temperatures will be a bit cooler in the high country today, with highs in the upper 30s to low 50s, but in the deserts, look for low 70s under mostly sunny skies.  Overnight lows are forecast to dip to  the 40s and low 50s.

A slow warm-up looks likely for the rest of the week ahead, with mid 70s likely by mid-week, and upper 70s as we head into the weekend.

No rain or snow is in the forecast for the next seven days.
