Mesa, Ariz -- Police in Mesa were forced to use a taser on a man following a domestic call.

Police were called to a residence on North Cherry Street Sunday afternoon because of what they described as a family fight situation.

Police tried to talk the suspect out of the apartment but he refused.

They then fired tear gas into the residence.

Minutes later a taser was used to subdue the suspect.

There were no other injuries.
