Busy Philipps: 'Cougar Town' is back on Feb. 14!

PHOENIX -- For those of you missing the hit show "Cougar Town," the wait is almost over. Actress Busy Philipps stopped by 3TV Friday morning and told Kaley O'Kelley that the show is returning with new episodes on Feb. 14.

Philipps, who was wearing a fabulous vintage dress she bought at Fashion by Robert Black in Scottsdale, plays Laurie Keller, who is "Jules’ (Courteney Cox) brassy assistant and her passport to the adventures of single-life."

While many thought "Cougar Town" was canceled, that's not the case at all. The show simply got caught up in a scheduling  tangle, but it's back on the air on this month.

"For people who maybe haven't watch the show or maybe watched the pilot and maybe thought , 'Well this isn't the show for me,' this Feb. 14 episode is a really good -- think of it like a second pilot -- introduction into the show," Philipps explained. "The show really isn't about Courteney Cox dating younger guys. It's really about this group of friends and neighbors who are a little quirky, like to have their glass of wine -- ladies in Scottsdale, I know you know what I'm talking about -- and all of the sort of crazy things they get in to in their cul-de-sac."

"Ain't Love Strange," the season premiere of "Cougar Town," airs Tuesday, Feb. 14 at 7:30 p.m. on ABC.
