Tajani Bond, Orlando Moreno Sanchez and Ronnie Joe Vasquez By Catherine Holland
BISBEE, Ariz. -- A woman and two men are in custody after a home invasion in Bisbee sent one man to the hospital.
It happened at about 3:15 .m. Monday at a home on Barnett Road, according to the Cochise County Sheriff's Office.
Detectives said the victim, a 32-year-old man, told them it all started when a woman he knows, Tajani Bond, called and asked if she could come over.
Shortly after Bond, 23, arrived, the victim said several men opened the door and invited themselves into his home. He said the two men beat him up and ransacked his house before leaving with Bond.
Detectives tracked the trio to a home in Hereford.
Deputies arrest Bond and Orlando Moreno Sanchez, 23, of Texas. Both were booked on a variety of charges in connection with the home invasion. They are being held at the Cochise County Jail on $100,000 bail each.
A third suspect, Ronnie Joe Vasquez, 27, is awaiting extradition back to Texas where he's wanted on a felony warrant.
The victim, whose name has not been released, is out of the hospital and continuing his recovery at home.
The CCSO said the investigation into Monday morning's home invasion is continuing and more arrests are likely.
Bisbee is roughly 210 miles -- about a 3.5-hour drive -- southeast of Phoenix and less than two hours southeast of Tucson.
