TEMPE, Ariz. -- Police have tracked down and arrested a second suspect believed to be involved in a Jan. 18 homicide in Tempe.

Blaine Christopher Griffin Jr., 20, of Phoenix, was arrested Jan. 25  in connection with the homicide of Allen Cropper, 22, at the Hayden Lane Apartments near University and McClintock drives.

Investigators said Griffin and Larry Dean Tellis Jr. were at Cropper's apartment to purchase marijuana. While they were negotiating the price, a physical fight ensued.

The suspects fired shots inside the apartment, according to Tempe police. Cropper was shot and later died from his injuries. Two other victims were also show during the incident.

Griffin was booked into Tempe City Jail on charges of first-degree murder and armed robbery.

Police arrested Tellis in Vallejo, Calif.
