Aboud hosts flat tax forum in Tucson, talks Giffords' seatPosted: Updated:
TUCSON, Ariz. -- State Senator Paula Aboud was in Tucson Saturday to host a flat tax forum.
A panel discussed the real world impact of the flat tax on Arizona's middle class families.
Aboud says that plan would raise taxes on eight out of every nine Arizonas, while giving the rich massive tax cuts.
Senator Aboud's name has been thrown around as a potential contender for former Congresswoman Gifford's seat.
When asked about it, Aboud said that she's looking into it and would be honored to take her seat.
Aboud says it'll be a tough race for whoever chooses to run, since candidates will essentially have to run multiple races for two separate districts at the same time.
