1 Killed in street-racing crash; 2nd driver left scene

PHOENIX -- Phoenix police need your help finding the driver of a vehicle that left the scene of a fatal accident Saturday morning near 75th Avenue and Thomas Road.

Police were told by witnesses that two vehicles were seen street racing. 

One of the vehicles involved ran into a tree in a median, killing its driver. Officials have identified the driver who died as 25-year old Alex G. Zelaya-Hernandez. A white honda civic, possibly a 2000 model that left the scene has not been located. It was last seen going northbound on 75th Avenue. It has chrome rims and the driver is believed to be a male.
