Community Land Trust has help for interested home buyers

TUCSON, Ariz. -- The Pima County Community Land Trust may have assistance to help would-be homeowners buy a home.

The organization is offering help to low income people interested in buying re-modeled, energy-efficient homes.

They held an information session Thursday to explain just how it works.

"The City of Tucson got federal founds to purchase foreclosed homes, then they transfer this homes to the Pima County Community Land Trust wish is a non profit.  We rehab them and we're selling them to low and moderate income families," said Pima Community Land Trust Manager Maggie Amado Tellez.

The Community Land Trust open house tour is Saturday from noon-5:00 P.M.
