Fire and explosions in southwest Tucson homePosted: Updated:
TUCSON, Ariz. -- A house fire Wednesday on Roadrunner Road west of Westover Avenue caused more than $40,000 in damage.
The fire started on the front porch and spread into the home.
There were explosions associated with the fire caused from bursting paint cans due to the high heat.
A dog in the house was rescued by firefighters and given oxygen.
And one resident was transported to the hospital for smoke inhalation.
