PHOENIX -- Police from several Arizona cities are on the lookout for a missing woman from New York.

Jessica L. Ronhock, 21, was last seen at Elmira College in Elmira, N.Y., on Jan. 10. She left a note for her roommate saying that she had to go home for a family emergency, but she never went home and her family says there was never an emergency.

Her family had no knowledge that Ronhock had left college.

Police confirmed that she has been in Chattahoochee, Fla., and Baytown, Texas. Credit card records show she was in Williams, Ariz., on Thursday. Her destination is believed to be the Grand Canyon area.

Ronhock is involved in ROTC and may be making contact with other members of ROTC along her travels. Ronhock is believed to be traveling alone, but makes her hotel reservations for two adults.

She is driving a white 2000 Jeep packed full of items. It has Massachusetts license plate number 66JX98 and has several bumper stickers on the back.

She is described as a white female, 5 feet 7 inches tall, 150 to 160 pounds with brown eyes and brown hair that she has cut to just below her ears. She has rose tattoo on her left shoulder and a butterfly tattoo on her right hip.

If you've seen her or the vehicle you're asked to call police.
