2 Sought in Tempe homicide

TEMPE, Ariz. -- Police say drugs were involved in the murder of a man inside a Tempe apartment Wednesday afternoon.

Tempe police Sgt. Steve Carbajal said Allen Cropper, 22, was shot and killed at the Hayden Lane Apartments near University and McClintock drives.

Another man was shot and a third was assaulted. They both received minor injuries.

The names of the victims have not been released.

Police are still searching for the suspects.

One of the suspects was described as a black male, 5 feet 10 inches tall, 250 pounds, with short shaved hair. He was wearing a black polo shirt and black pants.

The second suspect was described as a black male, 5 feet 9 inches tall, 175 pounds, with short shaved hair. He was wearing a white hat with blue trim and a white and blue letterman-style jacket.

The suspects were driving a blue 2001-2005 Chevrolet Suburban with dark tinted windows
