Tucson elephants will stay together

TUCSON, Ariz. -- Bob Barker speaks, people listen. The two elephants at the Reid Park Zoo are now moving together to San Diego.

The plan initially was to separate the elephants.  But it got a lot of attention when the former "Price is Right" host offered to donate money to keep them together.

"We think about every decision that we make we take in consideration a lot of factors but always at the top of the list is animal welfare and we think this is a great solution," said Reid Park Zoo administrator Susan Basford.

The move will provide Shaba and Connie with more space, plus introduce them to additional herd members.
