Warm-up aheadPosted: Updated:
PHOENIX -- Monday's winter storm left behind a few clouds and cooler temperatures to start off our Tuesday, but temperatures should warm up to 67 degrees by the afternoon under mostly sunny skies. That's exactly average for our afternoon high on today's date.
Tonight, skies will be clear with overnight Valley lows in the upper 30s to mid 40s.
A weak ridge of high pressure will warm our afternoon temperatures into the low 70s for the second half of the workweek, with plenty of sunshine.
High clouds will be on the increase after Thursday ahead of a late-weekend storm.
At this point, rain and snow chances are slim for Sunday night, increasing into the day on Monday.
