PHOENIX -- Tony Cascio was selected this week 14th overall by the Colorado Rapids.

Cascio is no stranger to success. As a sophomore at Hamilton High School, he set the school record for assists. Named first team all-region during his junior and senior seasons, Cascio scored the most goals on his team during his final two years there.

He also won a state title as a kicker on the football team.
