Peoria police seek person of interest in fatal shooting

PEORIA, Ariz. -- A Peoria man was shot and killed early Sunday morning and police are asking for the public's help to locate a person of interest.

Miles Romanski, 24, and his 21-year-old brother were driving home at about 3 a.m. when Romanski was fatally shot near Peoria and 73rd avenues.

Peoria police are looking for Michael Zachary Zamora, 18, who was driving in the area at the time and may have been involved in a road rage situation with Romanski, according to spokesman Jay Davies.

Zamora is described as 5 feet 11 inches tall, 160 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. His 2006 Dodge Charger is dark blue with a spoiler, tinted windows, 22-inch custom rims and a custom front grill with Arizona plates ARS9716.

Romanski leaves behind a pregnant wife and two stepchildren.
