Ben's Bells holds Day of Kindness at Tucson Children's MuseumPosted: Updated:
TUCSON, Ariz. -- The Ben's Bells project used Sunday Jan. 8 to show everyone just how kind Tucson can be.
Volunteers held a Day of Kindness Sunday morning at the Children's Museum. Kids and adults alike took to painting the little tile pieces which will be used to build a kindness mural at the new Ben's Bells downtown location.
"It's a way to remember but also to remember that we still need to keep passing on the kindness. There was a lot of that going on right when it first happened. It's just a nice reminder that everyone needs a little extra kindness, not just a couple days out of the year," said Cassie Williams with the Ben's Bells project.
Earlier Sunday morning, volunteers hung a number of Ben's Bells across the Tucson area.
