Quiet weather week aheadPosted: Updated:
PHOENIX -- After a weak storm moved through over the weekend, it looks like Arizona is in for a calm and quiet week ahead.
Sunday's storm brought slightly cooler temperatures, breezy conditions and a couple of inches of snow in Eastern Arizona. Show Low ended up with the most snow, reporting totals between 6 inches and a foot. No rain fell in the Valley.
Morning temperatures started off in the 30s and 40s Monday, but should rise to the mid to upper 60s Monday afternoon under sunny skies. More of the same is forecast for the week ahead, with no major changes until the weekend.
A storm system looks to move into Arizona Saturday and Sunday, bringing a slight chance of rain for the weekend, along with slightly cooler temperatures.
