TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) -- Authorities say a man's decapitated body has been found west of the Tucson Mountains.
Pima County Sheriff's officials say the man's head wasn't found with the body, which had other signs of trauma.
The body was found by workers cutting grass Friday morning along the road in the 2300 block of North Reservation Road and West Mile Road.
The workers flagged down Bureau of Land Management rangers and U.S. Border Patrol agents in the area.
Detectives believe the body had been in the area for less than 24 hours.
They're not immediately releasing any other information in the case.
