PHOENIX -- Silent Witness is offering a reward to help identify and locate a man wanted in connection with an armed robbery at a Phoenix Walgreens.
The suspect is described as a white male, 20 to 30 years old, 5 feet 5 inches to 5 feet 7 inches tall, blond/brown hair and blue eyes. He was wearing blue jeans and a black hooded jacket with white writing at the time of the robbery.
According to police, the suspect entered the Walgreens at 35th Avenue and Camelback Road at approximately 3:40 p.m. on Nov. 11 and went directly to the pharmacy counter. He produced a black handgun and demanded oxycodone.
The pharmacist gave the man the prescription drugs and he put them in a small red bag then ran out of the store.
Witnesses saw him run across Camelback Road into the Orange Arbor apartment complex, but he was not located.
Silent Witness is offering up to a $1,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest. Police released surveillance video and photos of the suspect on Wednesday.
