Mild New Year's EvePosted: Updated:
PHOENIX -- It looks like the Valley will end 2011 on a warm note. After a chilly start to Wednesday, look for Valley highs this afternoon in the upper 60s under mostly sunny skies.
A slow-warm up over the next couple of days means we'll top out near 70 degrees on Saturday, the last day of 2011. That's about five degrees above average for this time of year.
Overnight lows are forecast to stay in the 30s and 40s under mostly clear skies.
If you're headed out to celebrate New Year's Eve outside, temperatures should be in the low to mid 50s around midnight.
No rain or snow is forecast for the next seven days.
