Phoenix police release sketch of murder suspect

PHOENIX -- Phoenix police released a sketch of a homicide suspect and are asking for the public's help to identify him.

Laverdous Moore was murdered Nov. 28 in the area of 901 S. 17th Ave.

The suspect is described as a black male, 30-40 years old, 5 feet 8 inches to 6 feet tall with a large build. Police said the suspect is believed to go by the name "Gary" and he drives a red or maroon sport utility vehicle, possibly a Jeep Cherokee or a Chevy Blazer.

Anyone with information on the identity and whereabouts of the suspect is asked to call Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS. A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered.
