TEMPE, Ariz. -- Authorities uncovered items buried in a remote desert area that were stolen during a robbery.

Investigators arrested Oshin Thomas, 33, at an apartment on Mill Avenue in Tempe for the theft.

It all began in early December when someone stole $600,000 worth of gold and silver coins from a home in Sedona.

It turns out Thomas had business dealings with the owner.

Yavapai County sheriff's deputies started digging around and discovered some of the coins buried in the desert.

Now the hunt is on for the rest of the coins, some of which investigators say may be buried in California.
