PHOENIX -- Silent Witness is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest of three suspects in a series of armed robberies at McDonald's and Subway restaurants.

According to Sgt. Darren Burch of the Phoenix Police Department, the suspects have hit more than six fast-food locations since Sept. 15.

Burch, the Silent Witness coordinator, said the trio has been targeting fast-food restaurants in Tempe and Phoenix.

He said in each case, the suspects forced the victims to the back of the businesses, pointing a gun at both employees and customers. In two incidents, the suspects actually fired shots.

The so-called "Fast Food Bandits" have been seen leaving in a white mid-size late-1990s van.

The first suspect is a black male in his late 20s or early 30s. He is between 5 feet 7 inches and 5 feet 11 inches tall with a medium to heavy build. He was wearing a dark jacket, black and white long shorts, black tennis shoes and red and gray UNLV baseball cap.

The second suspect is a white or Hispanic male in his early 20s. He has a skinny build and numerous tattoos on neck, left shin, right hand and behind his ear. He was last seen wearing a red, white and blue baseball cap with the Philippines flag on the back.

The third suspect is a Pacific Islander male, about 5 feet 8 inches tall with an average build. He has long "bushy" hair and was wearing a red hooded sweatshirt with gold design on front, and a white New York Yankees baseball cap with black pin stripes.

Police released surveillance video (above) from one of the armed robberies. In that video, the first suspect, the black male, is clearly seen pulling out a gun and grabbing a customer.
