Winter storm moves outPosted: Updated:
PHOENIX -- Our slow-moving winter storm is finally moving east of Arizona today.
The system brought 17 inches of snow Flagstaff, and 2 feet to parts of the Mogollon Rim. Sunrise Ski Resort in the White Mountains got 2 feet of snow, while Snowbowl in Northern Arizona only got a foot.
Today, a few flurries remain, but the bulk of the storm has moved out.
No more rain is expected in the Valley today. Most parts of town got more than an inch of rain from the storm, with parts of the far East Valley like Queen Creek and Apache Junction getting soaked with more than 2 inches.
Look for partly cloudy skies and cool conditions the rest of today. The Valley should top out in the upper 50s this afternoon.
Tonight will be chilly, with lows in the low 30s to low 40s around town. Patchy fog is possible tomorrow morning.
