Tucson distributor Golden Eagle hits streets with CNG fleetPosted: Updated:
TUCSON, Ariz. -- Tucson beer distributor Golden Eagle has its new fleet of "green" trucks on the streets.
The new trucks run on compressed natural gas, which the company says reduces emissions and fuel costs.
Golden Eagle Distributors will have a filling station at the headquarters on Ajo Way, for which they'll break ground next month.
"This is a great investment for our company, its the right thing to do for the environment, and the right to do for our community," said CEO Golden Eagle Dist. William Clemmens.
Golden Eagle Distributes Anheuser-Busch products across Arizona. Its other six locations will begin converting to CNG fuel next year.
