1)    Christmas Fest 2011: DuoWest presents a unique holiday collaboration featuring the Phoenix Girls Chorus on Saturday, December 10 at 7:00 p.m. at the Desmond Residence in Scottsdale.  Show includes a pre-concert reception and intermission with wine tasting and hors d’oeuvres. 

2)    Mesa Arts Festival:  This weekend, Saturday and Sunday, December 10-11, at the Mesa Arts Center, find unique gifts for the holidays at the annual festival, along with live entertainment, culinary delights, and children’s activities. 

3)    Sister’s Christmas Catechism: The Mystery of the Magi’s Gold: Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts presents the hit comedy December 13-23.  Tuesday through Sunday shows at 7:30 p.m., 8:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday nights, and also at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 17. 4)    Handel’s Messiah: Phoenix Symphony presents the holiday tradition Handel’s Messiah at venues throughout the valley.  On Wednesday, December 14 at 7:30 p.m., Central united Methodist Church, Phoenix.  On Thursday, December 15 at 7:30 p.m., American Lutheran Church in Sun City.  On Friday, December 16 at 7:30 p.m., Mesa Arts Center.  On Saturday, December 17 at 7:30 p.m., Camelback Seventh-Day Adventist Church, Phoenix.  Lastly, on Sunday, December 18 at 3:00 p.m., Pinnacle Presbyterian Church, Scottsdale. **giveaway of a pair of tickets to the Friday, December 16, 7:30 p.m. concert at the Mesa Arts Center.
