All-star cast celebrates 'New Year's Eve'Posted: Updated:
PHOENIX -- In 2010, he was all about "Valentine's Day." Now director Garry Marshall has put together another huge all-star cast for another romantic comedy with a single "day" theme. This time's it all about "New Year's Eve."
The movie's cast list reads like a who's who of Hollywood. Michelle Pfeiffer, Zac Efron, Robert DeNiro, Halle Berry, Cary Elwes, Alyssa Milano, Katherine Heigel, Jessica Biel, Lea Michele, James Belushi, Josh Duhamel, Ashton Kutcher and, of course, Hector Elizondo -- he's been in every movie Marshall has made -- all have roles, and the list goes on.
As the title implies, "New Year's Eve" is set on the biggest party night of the year in "The City That Never Sleeps," "The Capital of the World," "The Big Apple" -- New York City.
According to Cinema Source, it's a story that "celebrates love, hope, forgiveness, second chances and fresh starts.
"New Year's Eve" opens Friday, Dec. 9. It's rated PG-13.
