Slight warm-up on Wednesday

Posted: Updated:

PHOENIX -- Most locations around metro Phoenix will see slightly warmer temperatures Wednesday morning. As a result, a freeze watch has been issued for areas outside of metro Phoenix. Last night we had freeze warnings out. Around the Valley, expect lows in the range of 36 to 29 degrees, so some protection of tender plants is advised by the experts.

Then we'll start to warm things up. By Wednesday afternoon, and through the weekend, a very quiet weather pattern will set up over the desert Southwest, featuring highs in the mid-60s and no rain.
