Solomon Hill leads assists for Arizona

TUCSON, Ariz. -- The Arizona basketball team has a lot of good guards, that's why it's somewhat surprising that one of the 'Cats' forwards is leading the team in assists.

Head Coach Sean Miller said junior Solomon Hill is playing his best basketball as a Wildcat.

Solo averaging 12 points and eight rebounds per game this season.

It's his ability to handle the ball though that has him on top of the club at three assists per contest with a season-high seven in the 'Cats win at New Mexico State.

"Recently what he's done a good job of is, in addition to making clever plays, he's cut back on his turnovers. You know in the past although he's always helped us move the ball and has made good decisions, he's once in and while made bad decision which sometimes negated his ability to pass," said Coach Sean Miller.
