1)    A Winnie-the-Pooh Christmas Tail: Valley Youth Theatre’s 16th annual holiday tradition runs through December 23, in Phoenix. Sat. 11:00 a.m. & 1:30 p.m., Sun. 12:30 & 3:00 p.m., Fri. (12/23) 10:30 a.m. & 1:00 p.m., and Thurs. (12/22) 10:30 a.m. & 1:00 p.m.

2)    Rat Pack Holiday Extravanga:  Presented by Desert Rose Theatre December 8-17 at the new theatre location at the Power Square Mall in Mesa. Thursday through Saturday shows at 7:30 p.m., and December 10 & 17 also at 2:00 p.m. Be transported back to the Rat Pack’s heyday in this musical-comedy featuring Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr., and Dean Martin’s greatest holiday songs. 

3)    Irving Berlin’s White Christmas: A brand new musical, based on the movie, presented by ASU Gammage, from December 6-11.  Shows are Tuesday-Friday 7:30 p.m., Saturday 2:00 p.m. & 7:30 p.m., and Sunday 1:00 & 6:30 p.m. Full of dancing and great music.

4)    The Nutcracker: Ballet Arizona presents the 25th annual performance of this classic holiday score, December 9-24. Perfect for the family, at Phoenix Symphony Hall.
