GUADALUPE, Ariz. -- The Maricopa County Sheriff's Office is searching for an 18-year-old gang member wanted in an attempted homicide.

The shooting happened shortly after 4 p.m. on Nov. 23 in the 8800 block of South Avenida Del Yaqui in Guadalupe.

According to the sheriff's office, Kilo Garcia used a .40-caliber semiautomatic pistol to shoot his victim multiple times, causing serious injuries.

Garcia is described as Native American/Hispanic, 5 feet 5 inches tall, 160 to 170 pounds with brown eyes and short to medium thick black hair. He has "VGL" tattooed on his left forearm and left hand, "GUADALUPE" tattooed on his right forearm, "KILO" tattooed on his upper right arm, and unknown tattoos on the left and right sides of his neck.

Garcia is considered to be armed and dangerous and should not be approached, according to a crime bulletin.
