Another warm day; cold storm comingPosted: Updated:
PHOENIX -- It was a mostly cloudy start to Tuesday across Arizona, but it's still expected to be a warm day across the state. By the afternoon, those clouds should move out, leading to Valley temperatures in the upper 70s, or even low 80s if the clouds move out even quicker.
Wednesday is expected to be warm and mostly sunny before a late-week storm brings a big change in our weather pattern.
A low-pressure system currently in the Gulf of Alaska is forecast to move toward Arizona over the next couple of days, dropping temperatures 20 to 25 degrees, plus bring a chance of rain and snow Thursday night through Sunday.
Afternoon highs in the Valley will struggle to top out at 60 degrees over the weekend. Snow is likely in the high country Thursday night through Sunday.
