Search continues for missing Tucson manPosted: Updated:
TUCSON, Ariz. -- The search is on for a 21-year-old Tucson man, missing now for eleven days.
This weekend Jordan Peterson's family and friends set out across town to find him, but their search didn't turn up any answers.
Police say Jordan "JP" Peterson went missing on November 16 after telling his roommate he'd be home later that evening.
A couple days later police found Jordan's abandoned pick up truck in Marana; his phone and keys still in the car.
"We know he used to come here a lot, he frequented this place," said Brandon Richardson.
This weekend Jordan's friends passed out fliers on Fourth Avenue. They say any information helps.
"We're just trying to pass out as many fliers as we possibly can," said Richardson.
As of Sunday, a Facebook page "Help find Jordan Peterson" had nearly a thousand likes. His friends are constantly posting updates.
"We're just hoping that somebody, ya know, will recognize him and maybe give us some information about it," said Richardson.
Jordan is described as 6'1", 140 pounds with blue eyes and shaggy orange/red hair. He also has a large eagle tattoo on his right calf and a tattoo of a Native American woman on his shoulder.
"I'm trying to be optimistic," said Richardson. "I'm trying to stay positive and try to do what I can, but it breaks my heart because, ya know, he's a good kid."
